Our History

For Over 10 years, Snippers Grooming (formally Snippers Hair Club for Dogs & Cats), has been a main staple in the Savin Hill neighborhood of Dorchester, Ma. In 2021, under new ownership, Snippers reopened with a vision in mind. The mission is to create a safe, fun, and most importantly, a loving grooming experience for your pets. Grooming should be an experience pets enjoy, not fear. At Snippers, we love what we do! As animal lovers, we are dedicated to making your pets feel safe and nurtured. We believe in building trusting bonds with the animals and fostering those relationships for years to come. By offering extra cuddles, a delicious treat, or simply spending a little extra time talking to your pet, we believe we can make them feel comfortable, secure, and eager to get pampered.

Our groomers are professionally trained and CPR certified. We use all natural and high quality products that are safe and nourishing in order to produce the absolute best outcome for your pets skin and coat.

Larysa Olejnik

OWNER

Larysa Olejnik has been professionally caring for pets for over 15 years. She is a loving mother of four. Her household consists of 2 rescue dogs and 5 rescue cats. Larysa is highly dedicated to the health, happiness and safety of your pets!

Anthony Dooley

GROOMER

Anthony Dooley's lifelong love for animals began in his childhood, influenced by his mother's career in pet services. His artistic talent led him to study film directing in San Diego. He later returned to Boston to pursue pet grooming, blending creativity with his passion for animals. Anthony's commitment to excellence took him to Europe, where he earned a Master Groomer Certificate in 2023. His advanced skills and deep understanding of animal behavior ensure top-tier grooming services. Anthony thrives on the challenges of grooming, transforming each pet into a work of art while providing a stress-free experience. His unique blend of creativity and compassion makes him a standout in the pet grooming field, dedicated to helping pets look and feel their best.

APPOINTMENT ONLY

At Snippers you must request an appointment in advance. We do not accept walk-ins so that we can keep our focus on the pets that are already present at the shop. This allows us to complete the sessions in a timely manner so as to not over stress the pets.

COMMITED TO EDUCATION

All staff at Snippers, is committed to continuing their education. We believe, in order to bring you the best in service, products, & techniques, we need to stay on top of industry trends. Therefore, several times a year, from the owner to the groomers, and everyone in between, we take classes and attend seminars, in order to bring you the most progressive practices in the grooming field.

UV STERILIZATION

In addition to our sanitization protocols implemented between each pet & at the end of the day, we also use a UV sterilizer between grooms to ensure a clean & safe environment.

Our #1 priority is the comfort, safety, & well-being of your pet. We've put protocols in place to ensure that your pets are secure & happy while in our custody.

We do all of our paperwork in advance, online. Click on our BOOK NOW link and set up your profile, your pet's profile, add your billing info, & you are ready request services. Payments are taken online as well, no need to carry cash. Easy, Convenient, & Quick!

DRY YOUR PETS WITH CARE

At Snippers, we will never leave your pets unattended. We rely on our skilled staff to wash and fluff the dogs by hand, using a variety of tools such as cool blow dryers, to give your dog the perfect blow out.
